20 Years of Career
as Shoe Designer

Creativity has always been my passion.
Meet me, Eleonora! After the degree in Industrial Design, I further pursued my love for creativity by earning a Master’s degree in shoemaking. I launched my career in the shoe industry as an intern at Hugo Boss, where I honed my abilities as a shoe designer.
After designing collections for trendy brands such as Killah, Miss Sixty and Miss Sixty Junior, I took on the role of Head Designer at Bershka, a street-wear brand of the well-known Inditex group. During my tenure, I gained valuable experience in shoemaking, designing collections, managing suppliers, working as part of a team, sourcing materials, trend analysis and more. After a decade with a large company, I felt the desire to work on a more personal, intimate, and sustainable quality project:
I was ready to establish my first solo project.
In 2010, I started Ele Handmade Shoes, my own brand of handmade shoes.
Over the course of over a decade, I’ve crafted thousands of shoes by hand and by using the finest Italian leathers: I’ve made shoes for thousands of women all around the world, I love the idea that they feel unique and special as they walk in a super comfortable and charming pair of shoes, especially created for each of them.
Today, my business is still thriving and my name is associated to unique and beautifully crafted designs.

WHERE I WORKED

In 2010, I started Ele Handmade Shoes, my own brand of unique and handmade shoes, created by using the finest Italian leathers.

On my solo project I’ve been running the creative step as well as the executive one: raw materials sourching and selection, suppliers managing and negotiations, shoemaking, logistic, marketing, customer service, logo and brand identity, photo shooting and much, much more!

Over the course of over a decade, I’ve crafted thousands of shoes by hand and by using the fanciest leathers: I’ve made shoes for thousands of women all around the world, I love the idea that they feel unique and special as they walk in a super comfortable and charming pair of shoes, especially created for each of them.

Today, my business is thriving and my name is associated to unique and beautifully crafted designs.

MY SHOES HAVE BEEN FEATURED ON

Teaching how to make shoes
in person courses

In 2020, I began imparting my distinct and unconventional shoemaking method through in-person workshops in Barcelona. I have taught to dozens of students on how to create their own pair of shoes using a straightforward technique, minimal tools, and without any prior shoemaking experience. Many women have had the opportunity to craft their own ballet flats, sandals, or loafers from scratch, and the experience of walking in a pair of shoes they have made themselves is truly stunning!

Shoemaking made
easy with online courses

Teaching in person was a truly fulfilling experience, both my students and I were so happy about the result! I loved to share my knowledge and my students were elated with their achievements, they made their own pair of shoes!
For this very special reason I decided to extend this positive energy by encapsulating the shoemaking workshops into a user-friendly online courses so you can create your pair too!
The courses feature clear and detailed videos, and I offer a worry-free experience as they come with a complete kit of tools and materials to create your pair of shoes. The courses are specifically designed with beginners in mind so, even without prior experience, you can make your own shoes, right from the comfort of your kitchen table!
